Pearl Brand

When I joined Pearl as the founding designer, nothing existed. I drew a placeholder logo (a simple pearl inside a square, with custom corner radii) thinking it would hold for a few weeks until we figured out the real brand. It stuck: the founders and the team got attached, and the placeholder became the real thing. We later teamed up with the studio Anagram to build a stronger brand system around it, and the brand has kept evolving ever since.
