Product Hunt

I spent eight years designing Product Hunt, first as a senior product designer, then as Head of Product Design from 2018 to 2023.

With a design team that never grew past a handful of people, I worked on almost every surface of the product: the homepage, launch pages, product pages, onboarding, topics and search, the Chrome extension, streaks and badges, and yearly moments like the Golden Kitty Awards. The constant across all of it: keep a product used daily by millions simple, playful, and fast to ship.
